One thing to know before you turn texting on
US carriers make every business register before it can text customers. We file it and chase it, but the cost is yours: a one-time registration fee and a small monthly carrier fee on top of the $99, passed through at cost rather than marked up. You see the itemised total and approve it before anything is submitted.
Your number takes calls straight away. Texting waits on approval — usually minutes to hours at the registry, then up to about a week at the carriers. Their timetable, not ours. The detail is on the pricing page.
