Let's talk

Texting needs a one-time A2P 10DLC carrier registration, passed through at cost and not included in the plan price — what that involves. Prices in USD.

Custom has no price on it because there isn't one set in advance. It starts with a conversation about what you actually run, and the terms are agreed from there. The three plans above are the ones you can simply buy.

How your included texts and minutes work

1It's included The voice minutes and texts on your plan are part of the price, not an add-on you buy separately.
2It resets monthly A fresh allowance every month. It doesn't roll over, so anything unused just resets.
3Then it's billed as used Go past the allowance and the extra is billed as you use it, against a monthly spending cap that you set.

You set the ceiling, so there is no surprise bill. The cap is yours to choose and you can change it. Carrier registration is quoted and approved by you before anything is submitted — itemised, every line.

Will your plan cover it?

Answer one question and we'll point you at a plan, so you're not doing minute arithmetic in your head.

Before you buy a plan with texting

Texting costs a bit more than the plan, and it doesn't start on day one.

We'd rather you heard this now than in week two. In the US you can't just start texting customers from a business number. The carriers make every business register first — who you are, and what sort of messages you'll send. It's called A2P 10DLC, and every provider has to do it. There's no way around it and nobody is exempt.

It costs extra, and it isn't ours

A one-time registration fee, then a small monthly carrier fee. That money goes to the carriers and the registry, not to us — we pass it through at cost rather than marking it up. It sits on top of your plan price, and the first three months of the monthly fee are collected up front because that's how the carriers bill it.

You see the number before you pay it

When you register, we show you an itemised total — every line, with the amount — and you approve it before anything is submitted. If the payment doesn't go through, nothing is submitted and you owe nothing.

Calls first, texting shortly after

Your number works for calls straight away. Texting waits on approval: usually minutes to hours for the registry, then up to about a week for the carriers themselves. That's their decision and their timetable, not ours — we file it, chase it and keep you posted.

The fees are set by the carriers and The Campaign Registry and they change from time to time, so we show you the current amount at registration rather than printing a figure here that could go stale. The exact refund position on each one is in our Refund & Cancellation Policy — the short version is that once a registration has been submitted, the carriers don't give it back, so neither can we.

Side by side

Every feature, every plan.

This table is generated from the same plan records the app bills against. If it's ticked here, it's switched on in your account.

iPhone app (not on the App Store yet)IncludedIncludedIncludedIncluded

“Agreed” in the Custom column means exactly that: the allowance is settled when the plan is, rather than being the same for everyone. Texts and voice minutes beyond the included amounts are billed as you use them, with a cap you set. US business texting needs a one-time carrier registration; those carrier fees are passed through at cost. The iPhone app is not released yet — it's included on every plan for when it lands.

Billing questions

Before you pick one.

Can I change plans later?
Yes, up or down, whenever. You keep your website, your leads and your history — the plan only changes which tools are switched on.
What happens if I go over my texts or minutes?
You carry on, and the extra is billed as you use it. You set a monthly spending cap so it can't run away from you.
What are the carrier registration fees, and who pays them?
You do, on top of your plan. US carriers require every business sending texts to register first. There's a one-time registration fee and a small monthly carrier fee, both set by the carriers and the industry registry rather than by us, and we pass them through at cost rather than marking them up. The first three months of the monthly fee are collected up front, because that's how the carriers bill it. We do the paperwork and chase the approval. You see an itemised total and approve it before anything is submitted — and we show you the current amounts then rather than printing a figure here that could go stale. The full explanation is further up this page.
Is there a contract?
No. Month to month. Cancel and you stop being billed; a year up front costs about ten months.
Does it do my books?
No. RunJack doesn't replace your accounting software and doesn't pretend to. Keep what you've got.
