It knows how you price
Coatings are priced per square foot. So is the quote.
Pick concrete coatings when you set up and the quote builder works in square feet. You measure it on the walk-through and the customer argues about it afterwards, so it's the number the whole quote hangs on.
Deposits on a coatings job default to covering the materials, not a flat percentage. You've already paid for the product before you've ground anything, so the deposit covers what you're out of pocket.
